Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the online self-assessment tool, website, and related services operated by Seven Generations Leadership Inc. (“Seven Generations,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including services offered under The Empowerment Dynamic name.

By creating an account, purchasing access, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

1. Our Services

We provide an online self-assessment tool, referred to as the “EOP assessment,” that users may purchase and complete individually or through an organization that purchases license seats for its members. A completed assessment may generate a scored PDF report.

The assessment is provided for self-development and educational purposes. It is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, or clinical diagnostic tool, and it is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the services, or older if a higher minimum age applies where you live. The services are not directed to children under 16.

Accounts and login are handled through Clerk. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Purchases, Licenses, and Billing

We offer individual purchases and organizational or multi-seat licenses. The price, access period, renewal terms, and any applicable taxes or fees will be shown at checkout or in the applicable order confirmation.

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store raw payment card numbers. By purchasing, you authorize the applicable charges and agree to keep billing information current. If a purchase is a subscription, recurring charges and cancellation terms will be disclosed before you confirm the purchase.

A license is for the individual or organization identified at purchase and may not be resold, shared outside the purchased license seats, or transferred except with our written permission.

4. Organization Accounts and Member Access

An organization’s designated administrators may manage billing and member license seats. They may also view assessment results and generated reports for members connected to that organization. Organizations are responsible for informing their members about this access and using it in accordance with applicable law and their own policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use the services unlawfully or to violate another person’s rights.
• Share account credentials or license access beyond the purchased seats.
• Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the assessment or scoring methodology.
• Interfere with the security, operation, or availability of the services.
• Upload malicious code or use the services to distribute spam, harmful, or deceptive material.
• Use another person’s assessment data or account without authorization.

6. Intellectual Property

The services, assessment content, questions, scoring methodology, reports, software, branding, and related materials are owned by Seven Generations or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the services and your generated report for their intended personal or internal organizational purposes.

You retain ownership of information and responses you submit, subject to the rights we need to operate the services and the terms of our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Assessment results are informational and reflect the responses and scoring rules applied at the time of completion. They are not predictions, guarantees, or professional recommendations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seven Generations and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business arising from or related to the services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or related to the services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the services at any time and may request account deletion through in-app settings where that feature is available. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create a security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or if we discontinue the services.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination—including intellectual-property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms—will survive.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the services will be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Utah, unless applicable law requires a different forum or process.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the services after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the services.
