2. Personal Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the services, we may collect:
- Account and profile information: name, email address, account identifiers, profile details, preferences, and information needed to manage your access.
- Assessment information: individual answers, assessment status and history, calculated scores, results, and generated reports. The website’s “Get Started” quiz may also collect selected answers, optional written responses, and the page on which you took it, even if you skip its email signup.
- Organization information: invitations, membership and role, assigned licenses, assessment assignments, and organization-management records.
- Purchase and billing information: purchases, licenses, subscriptions, invoices, transaction records, and payment-provider identifiers. Stripe handles payment card details; we do not store full payment card numbers in the EOP application.
- Communications information: contact-form messages and optional phone numbers, resource and email signups, email preferences, and records related to service and marketing emails.
- Technical and activity information: IP address, browser or device details, access times, pages or features used, security and diagnostic records, and website cookie choices and the page URL recorded with those choices.
- Sharing information: settings and identifiers used when an assessment report is made available through a sharing link.
We may receive information from an organization that invites you to participate and from providers involved in authentication, payments, and email delivery.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Create and administer accounts and authenticate users.
- Provide assessments, calculate results, generate reports, and maintain assessment history.
- Manage organizations, invitations, licenses, purchases, and subscriptions.
- Make organization-owned assessment information available to authorized organization coaches as described below.
- Send account, invitation, assessment, deadline-reminder, purchase, security, and report-related messages.
- Respond to inquiries, provide requested resources, and manage educational or marketing communications and subscription choices.
- Operate, troubleshoot, protect, and improve the services; investigate misuse; and maintain records and backups.
- Meet applicable legal, accounting, and other obligations.
Where a law such as the GDPR requires a legal basis, it depends on the activity. It may include providing a service under a contract, complying with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the services, or consent where required. Marketing communications and non-essential tracking are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
4. Service Providers and Disclosures
Service providers may receive the information needed for their particular function. Providers used by the EOP platform include:
- Clerk: identity, authentication, account access, and related account communications.
- Stripe: checkout, payment processing, subscriptions, invoices, and billing administration.
- Resend: transactional and service email delivery, including invitations, account messages, assessment and report notices, and reminders; recipient addresses and message content are sent for delivery.
- Cloudflare R2: private storage for generated assessment report files and related EOP application storage.
The main website also uses Elastic Email to deliver requested guides, quiz-related messages, contact notifications, and administrative account messages; Cloudflare Turnstile to verify contact-form submissions; and Replit and its storage infrastructure to host the website, store submissions, and serve site files. The EOP platform also uses Replit for application hosting, database, and infrastructure services. Public website media and private EOP reports are not the same kind of stored file.
Kit (formerly ConvertKit) manages marketing subscriptions and educational or product communications. Website newsletter, resource, waitlist, and similar signups send the address and, where provided, name and signup or quiz selections to our server for synchronization to Kit. Website contact-form messages are not automatically added to Kit.
When you use booking links or an enabled booking widget, Calendly may process information about your visit and booking. With website analytics consent, Google Analytics may process usage information. Embedded content, including YouTube videos and Podbean podcasts, may send technical information to those providers when opened.
We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect users, the services, or our rights; to investigate fraud or security incidents; or in connection with a business sale, merger, financing, or similar transaction.
5. Coach Access
If you participate in the Empowerment Orientation Profile assessment through an organization, its authorized certified TED* coaches can access information needed to manage participation, such as membership, invitations, licenses, and assessment progress. Authorized coaches can also view completed results and reports for assessments belonging to their organization. Other organization members, such as CEOs or managers, do not receive access to an individual’s results solely because of their organization role. A personal assessment or assessment assigned through another organization may count toward group progress without giving a coach access to its individual report.
6. Report-Sharing Links
EOP reports are not publicly browsable by default. Where report sharing is enabled, anyone with an active private sharing link may be able to access the shared report. The link may also make the participant’s display name, submission date, and individual assessment responses available.
Treat a sharing link as sensitive. Share it only with intended recipients; if a recipient forwards it, others may gain access. Sharing can be turned off through available report controls. Access may also be affected by report-visibility settings.
7. International Processing
Seven Generations is based in the United States. Our providers and infrastructure may process information in the United States and other countries with different data-protection laws. Where applicable law requires safeguards for a transfer, we address those requirements under that law. Contact us with questions about international processing.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The website and EOP platform use cookies or similar technologies for functions such as authentication, sessions, security, and core operation. The website also stores cookie choices locally and records consent decisions. Google Analytics loads on the main website only with analytics consent, and its Calendly widget loads only with functional-cookie consent. Direct booking links open Calendly’s own site. Other embedded media may involve third-party technologies when you visit or use those features.
You can use your browser settings and the main website’s to manage available choices. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the services from working. We seek consent for non-essential cookies where required by law. The main website’s controls may differ from those on the EOP platform.
9. Service and Marketing Emails
Service emails may include authentication messages, invitations, purchase and license notices, assessment or deadline reminders, security messages, and report notices. The EOP platform uses Resend for application emails; the main website uses Elastic Email for its requested guides, quiz messages, contact notifications, and administrative messages.
Kit manages educational, product, and other marketing emails. Submitting one of the website’s email signup forms sends your details to Kit. An EOP account signup may also result in an address being added to our marketing list, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails, available account preferences, or by contacting us. Unsubscribing does not stop service, security, purchase, invitation, or assessment-related messages needed to provide the services.
10. Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the services, maintain assessment and business records, resolve disputes, protect the services, and meet legal obligations. Different records may be kept for different periods.
Deleting an EOP account removes account access but does not necessarily erase every related record immediately. Assessment responses, scores, reports, organization records, transactions, audit records, and backups may require separate review or retention. We assess deletion requests under applicable law, including any right to erasure and permitted or required exceptions. Billing and tax records may be retained as required by law; backups may persist for a period under applicable recovery procedures.
To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, contact info@powerofted.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. The EOP platform uses authenticated access and role-based permissions for sensitive functions, and its generated reports are stored in private object storage. Information transmitted to the services is protected using HTTPS/TLS.
While Seven Generations is aligned with SOC 2 compliance standards, we have not undergone a formal third-party audit for active certification.
If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact info@powerofted.com.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and circumstances, applicable law may give you rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; obtain a copy of certain information; restrict or object to certain processing; or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. You may also object to direct marketing. Rights may be subject to conditions and exceptions, including legal recordkeeping requirements.
Send requests to info@powerofted.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity. Where applicable, you may complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your jurisdiction. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
13. Children
The Empowerment Orientation Profile assessment platform is not intended for people under 16. We do not knowingly collect assessment information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information in circumstances that are not permitted, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
14. Changes and Contact
We may revise this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice or seek consent when applicable law requires it.
